How to Crochet Wheel Stitch






This is my first stitch tutorial with corresponding chart symbol. 
Hope this tutorial be helpful to your crochet journey. 








Row 1: ch 25






Row 2: ch1, turn, sc in 2nd ch from hook, skip 2ch, *(3dc, ch1, 3dc) in next ch, skip 2ch, sc in next ch*, repeat *to* 4 times.









Row 3: ch3 (consider as 1st dc), turn, 3dc tog, ch5, *5dc tog, 5ch*, repeat *to* 3 times, 3dc tog, dc in last st.


{ making dc in each dc but leaving every last loop on hook, yo, pull through all loops, (dc tog made) please refer photo below for reference}










Row 4: ch3, turn, 3dc in the next st, skip 2ch, long sc in next ch (insert the hook from front to back under the ch of  2nd row), *skip 2ch, 3dc, ch1, 3dc in next ch, skip 2ch, long sc in next ch (insert the hook from front to back under the ch of  2nd row)*, repeat *to* 3 times, skip 2ch, 3dc in next st, dc over dc. 












Row 5: ch1, turn, sc in the same st, ch 2, 6dc tog, *ch5, 6dc tog*,  repeat *to* 3 times, ch 2, sc in last st.









Row 6: ch1, turn, sc in the same st, *skip 2ch, 3dc,ch1,3dc in next ch, skip 2ch, long sc in next ch (insert the hook from front to back under the ch of  4th row)*  repeat *to* 3 times, skip 2ch, 3dc, ch1, 3dc in next ch, skip 2ch, sc over sc






Row 3: ch3 (consider as 1st dc), turn, 3dc tog in next st, ch5, *6dc tog, 5ch*, repeat *to* 3 times, 3dc tog, dc in last st.

  1. What a pretty stitch! This was very helpful--I'm trying to learn to use charts, and seeing the chart, the written instructions and the photos together makes a big difference.
