My sister-in-law gave me a gift, a very nice purse. When my other sister-in-law saw this purse, she told me that it would look prettier if I accessorize it, like a scarf on its handle. When I got home I realized, I could make a crochet accessory instead. So I looked for an idea on the internet for a pattern I could do. 

Guess what, I found an illustration pattern. I found it on facebook, I don't know if this is a japanese or chinese pattern but it helped. Actually it was a pattern for a stole but I adjusted its length shorter than the original pattern so it would fit my purse's handle.

Needed:

#1 Stainless Steel Hook

200g of Cotton Crochet Thread (color desired)

Terms:

2dc tog: (Yo, draw up a lp in top of dc, yo, draw through first 2 lps on hook) twice; yo, draw through all 3 lps on hook: 2dc tog made.

Shell: 2dc, ch2, 2dc in sp indicated.

Beg Cluster (beg cl): (ch 2, Yo, insert hook in specified sp and draw up a lp; yo and draw up through 2 lps on hook) 3 times; yo and draw through all 4 lps on hook: beg cl made.

Cluster (cl): (Yo, insert hook in specified sp and draw up a lp; yo and draw through first 2 lps on hook) 4 times; yo and draw through all 5 lps on hook: cl made.

Picot: ch3, sl st in 3rd ch from hook:  picot made.

Instructions:

Ch 240, form a ring. Be careful not to twist.
