In an international book that uses symbols, read it like this
or you may see it to be this way ....
or you may see it to be this way ....
A slip stitch or sl st is the smallest crochet stitch you can make.
Step 1: Insert the hook under two threads at the top of the required stitch. Catch the yarn with the hook.
Step 2: Pull a new loop through the three loops on the hook made.
